Banking in Andorra

Best banks in Andorra for expats & digital nomads

Opening a bank account is one of the first things you do after moving to Andorra. Here are the accounts that work for newcomers and non-residents, plus the fintech we would set up before you fly.

How to open a bank account in Andorra

Andorra's banking system consists of just three groups (Creand, Andbank, MoraBanc), all oriented toward residents and private-banking clients. Opening an account generally requires an in-person meeting, extensive due diligence and proof of source of funds, and often a substantial minimum; casual non-resident accounts are uncommon. Mainstream EEA neobanks (Revolut, N26, Wise, Bunq) do not serve Andorran residents, as Andorra is outside the EEA.
