Nigeria Tax Act 2025, effective 1 January 2026: PIT top band now 25% (up from prior 24%) with an expanded 0% band up to NGN 800,000; the old 1% minimum tax was removed. CIT 30% for large companies (may drop to 25% by presidential order), 0% for small companies (turnover <= NGN 100m and fixed assets <= NGN 250m). New 15% minimum effective tax rate for very large/MNE groups. Upstream oil & gas up to 60%.
